Our brand started back in Orlando, Florida in 2016 and originated from the Sabal Palm at MetroWest apartment complex. Extraordinary things happen to ordinary people.

This is a collaborative brand that aims to make clothing more personal, as we promote customization with the SIGNATURE SERIES to begin your journey. We feel that you should be passionate about the clothing you wear and have an input in its creation. That is how you represent something greater than yourself, and how we create an experience with clothing.

The palm tree is no longer just the symbol of paradise. For us, the palm tree represents personal growth and a journey up towards the vast and open sky of opportunity, eventually leading us to our goals and ambitions. These goals and ambitions are represented by the moon, shining bright in the darkness, guiding the way.

Both the moon and palm tree come together to create our logo, our symbol.

Sabal Palms at it's core is a vision, ambition, and intuition, centered around our personal journey and growth as we go through life and learn it's important lessons.

That growth is seen in the streets, where you are the most vulnerable and hungry for new experiences and a better life. This concept has been ingrained in us for as long as we can remember.

The spark of the vision, ambition, and intuition, originated from the Sabal Palm at MetroWest apartments in Orlando, Florida.

As a group of friends, we told each other fight stories that happened at "Sabal Palms", which ignited an interest in the complex and gave us a "fighting spirit". This fighting spirit became our identity as a group and as we got older, became the way we represented ourselves.

Many years went by with the stories being retold and then one day, we randomly decided to go back and revisit the apartment complex that now no longer carried the name.

As we skated over there, walked around the complex, and relived the nostalgia of the stories, we decided we wanted to further the special feeling we got from Sabal Palms that captured the essence of our inspired youth.

After the visit, we started to skate home and then stopped for a second to talk. We were hooked on the feeling and didn't want to let Sabal Palms be just a story from our past. We wanted to make our representation tangible.

For representation, we first discussed tattoo ideas and then that transformed into logo ideas. The light went on in our heads for the idea of starting our own clothing brand. Excitement and a realized passion emerged and as we all shook hands on the idea of pursuing this venture, Sabal Palms Apparel was born in 2016.

As we were now pursuing this venture, it quickly became a journey, tied to our spirituality and environment around us. All of these influences were shaping our personal development everyday as we went through tough times.

Through the tough times, it became evident that our brand needed to stand for something greater and push us to become better people.

One day, as we sat in our community hot tub and looked up towards the towering palm tree next to us, we came up with our message and tagline of "GET TO THE TOP."

The difficult task of climbing a palm tree represented the journey of life with the hard work and adversity you would encounter on the come up to achieving your goals and realizing your dreams.

This motivational element of the brand pushed it to where it is now and serves as the underlying "motivation" for why we continue to grow this brand.

Our focus now is on Florida, and making the palm tree a widespread symbol that gives representation and meaning to our loyal followers in their own unique way as they customize and influence the brand.

We are proud of what we've been able to accomplish so far and there is so much more progress to be made. Much more of the story can be told, but we wanted to thank everyone that has been part of the story so far.
